Basic Gameplay: Swapping and Matching

• Matching Three: The fundamental move. Swap two adjacent candies to form a horizontal or vertical line of three or more identical candies. These matches will clear from the board, and new candies will drop down to fill the empty spaces.

• Special Candies: This is where the real fun begins.

• Striped Candies: Match four candies in a row or column to create a striped candy. Swapping a striped candy will clear an entire row or column.

• Wrapped Candies: Match five candies in an “L” or “T” shape to create a wrapped candy. Swapping a wrapped candy will clear all candies in a 3×3 area around it.

• Color Bombs: Match five candies in a straight line (horizontal or vertical) to create a powerful color bomb. Swapping a color bomb with any other candy type will clear all candies of that color from the entire board.

• Combining Special Candies: The most effective way to clear large sections of the board is by combining two special candies. For example:

• Striped + Striped: Clears a row and a column.

• Striped + Wrapped: Clears three rows and three columns.

• Wrapped + Wrapped: Creates a massive 5×5 explosion.

• Color Bomb + Striped/Wrapped: Transforms all candies of the swapped color into striped or wrapped candies, then activates them.

• Color Bomb + Color Bomb: Clears every candy on the board!

Each level in Candy Crush Saga has specific goals that you must achieve within a limited number of moves. Common objectives include:

• Clear All Jelly: Remove all jelly squares by matching candies on top of them.
