Playing Rust effectively requires a blend of resourcefulness, cunning, and often, a good dose of courage. Here’s a basic guide to get you started on your journey to becoming a Rust master:

• Initial Survival: Your first few minutes are crucial. Immediately start gathering basic resources like wood and stone. Crafting a stone pickaxe and axe will significantly speed up resource collection. Look for food sources – wild animals, berries, or even other players’ stashes if you’re feeling bold.
• Building a Base: A secure base is your sanctuary. Start with a small wooden shack to protect your initial loot. As you gather more resources, upgrade your base to stone or even metal, adding more layers of defense, traps, and high external walls. Remember to place a tool cupboard and keep it stocked with resources to prevent decay and give you building privilege.
• Crafting and Progression: The crafting system is incredibly deep. You’ll unlock new blueprints by researching items at a research table or finding them in loot crates.
